City

The foundations of city photography was based on the way urban spaces viewed in the late 18th and early 19th century similarly to that of landscape photography. It's formation came about in a political era when the industry provoked a change in urban areas such as London and Paris. Much attention was brought to these places as a consequence and where documented through photographing the complexity of the city in 2 ways; as an image and an experience.
