A geological age defined by the irreversible damage caused by society on the environment.  

How is this a contemporary theory? – Imagining a visual timeline showing the movement of landscape photography starting at it’s birth in roughly 1826 to the current year of 2019, it is clear to see how the landscape is interpreted depending on the physical appearance of the environment.
